Largo Medical Center is a 425-bed teaching hospital located in Largo, in the US state of Florida. Following the prior nurses' protest, which took place one year prior, the hospital became associated with the National Nurses Organizing Committee.〔 The nurses at Largo Medical Center and other nearby hospitals, a total of 3,100 nurses, joined a nurses' union in 2012. In 2012, a new Chief Executive Officer officer was appointed, as Tony Degina replaced Ricky Satcher.
